Mayville is a dolomitic limestone with a wide natural range, cool silver-gray and charcoal set right beside creamy white and a little buff. The texture is pronounced from piece to piece, and as split ledge each stone gets room to show. On clean, simple architecture it does the talking, the wall supplying all the contrast the house needs.
