Whistler Basalt is the weathered outer shell of basalt columns, volcanic stone aged on the surface to grays from pale silver to deep charcoal, warmed by taupe, sand and the odd rust-toned piece. Hard and dense, it takes weather. Ledge comes thin or full; panel comes natural, split, honed or flamed, from a rough face to a refined one.
