Silver Pearl is quartzite in cool silver-gray and black, shot with crystalline flecks that catch as you walk past. Rugged cleft faces throw shadow into one another, and the stone is hard and dense enough to take the weather. It comes thin, as ledge, ashlar, castle and mosaic, from tight horizontal lines to a loose, irregular pattern.
