Cottonwood is one of the brightest limestones in the range, soft cream and pale beige with warm ivory through it and faint golden highlights. Morning light keeps it cool; late afternoon warms the whole wall. Pale stone shows texture before color, so the finish is the choice: split or tumbled ashlar and hewn, or panel in five finishes.
