Buff is limestone in sandy beige and soft tan, touched with golden ochre and nothing that asks for attention. That even tone lays up clean as split ashlar or as honed, sawn and split panel. Dense enough for freeze and thaw, it carries on underfoot as pavers and finishes a lower wall with wainscot caps.
